Otto Waelty joined Buss AG in Switzerland 40 years ago, right after his Bc.as Electrical Engineer.
Beginning as a Junior Sales Engineer for the globally reputed BUSS Kneader, he later became the first
Export Sales Manager of the Buss Company.

Late 1980’s he improved to Sales and Marketing Manager for Buss anode paste plants and equipment.

Mid 1990’s he took over as Business Manager Aluminium Industry with responsibility for all activities
related to the production of anodes in the primary aIuminium industry.

In 2005 Otto Waelty opted for early retirement and since is active as a freelance Senior Consultant
for Green Anode production

During all these years, the former Buss AG was split into several smaller enterprises that have changed
ownership from time to time up till now as well as company names.

Today, as a freelance Consultant Otto Waelty is no longer related to Buss and has no open obligations to
them whatsoever. His consulting services are therefore based exclusively on client’s requirements and his own
know-how, based on comprehensive worldwide experience.
